Scheduling and posting

Almost no traffic starts on a paid platform. It starts on a free one, where an account posts several times a day for weeks before anyone clicks through to anything paid. That volume is only sustainable if the posts are written in batches and released on a schedule.

Schedulers are judged here on slightly unusual criteria: how many accounts or channels a plan actually covers, whether the networks creators use are supported rather than only the business ones, what happens when a platform rejects a post, and whether the queue keeps running at night. Several products in this category bill per connected channel rather than per user, so the monthly total grows with the number of accounts.
